I’ve always held a very personal, sentimental outlook on life and within myself; this critically influencing my practice. I connect deeply to the idea that hidden beneath the work we create lies our own self depictions; that for any work to be successful it has to hold this connection with its creator. My work stands as creative expressions of my mind, these quietened thoughts that lay inside the soul, encapsulating all that we are as individuals.
An Ode To The Soul I Have Become serves as a celebration of all that I am within the final moments of leaving university, in moments of reflection and looking towards the future, standing as an artistic documentation of the soul I have and will become.
